Charingfield Resident Brothers

For Brothers, as for the community generally, the capacity to 'age in peace' in one's own home is not an option. Some degree of supportive living is a necessary and acceptable option.  Hostel and Nursing Home accommodation are available for the Brothers when the need arises and medical advice recommends it.

The hostel accommodation available in Charingfield Hostel is a joint venture project between the Christian Brothers and the Abbeyfield Society.

"Edmund House" is one of five separate self-contained living centres. It accommodates twelve persons and in addition has its own lounge, dining room, kitchen and laundry facilities. There is also a Chapel which residents from the other four houses are invited to share with the Brothers.
