Edmund Rice Formation Services
is an initiative of St Mary's Province of the
Christian Brothers NSW-ACT & Papua New Guinea.
It was established in 2003 as a
result of the need to amalgamate a number of activities
in St Mary's Province. Specifically, Edmund
Rice Formation Services offers targeted personal,
professional, spiritual, religious and faith
opportunities to people who are employed by, volunteer
for, and are associated with the Christian Brothers and
the Edmund Rice Network. The programmes and services
promote human and spiritual development within the
context of the Catholic faith tradition. There is an
emphasis on justice, both social and environmental.
The Edmund Rice Formation Services
team comprise a Director and five formation team
members, who will collaborate with other key Province
personnel in relation to formation needs. The team will
work primarily across Sydney, Wollongong / Illawarra,
Canberra and the Central Coast. The team is also
available to work in the rural areas of NSW.
Edmund Rice Formation Services has a commitment
